Yvette Marcia Dzus

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Yvette Marcia Dzus. She passed away one day short of her 87^th birthday on June 2, 2023 at the Breton Continuing Care Centre.

Left to mourn are her three children, Karla Helewell, Rebbeca Hindson (Ron), and Tim Hindson (Arlene); and one grandson, Ty Hindson. She is also survived by four siblings, Murray Martens, Lowell Martens (Gaylene), Blair Martens, and Leah Mansell (Michael).

Yvette was pre-deceased by her parents John and Naomi Martens.

We would like to send a special thank you to all the caregivers at the Breton Continuing Care Centre for their patience and concern for mom while she was a resident there. From her children, “thank you for making us tough and resilient.”

Cremation has taken place and a service will follow at a later date in British Columbia.
