Vivian Shaw, a beloved matriarch and a cherished friend to many, left this world peacefully on December 27, 2024, in Drayton Valley, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience. Born on April 7, 1940, in Tomahawk, she was a beacon of hope and warmth to all who knew her.

Vivian's life was filled with deep connections and cherished moments, anchored by the love of her family. She is survived by her three devoted children, Barb (Mitch) Reimer, Sandra Shaw, and James (Cynthia) Shaw, who carry forward her spirit, wisdom, and unlimited love. Their mother's unwavering support and nurturing will forever echo in the lives of her nine grandchildren: Nicole, Jamie, Jackie, Philip, Joshua, Mathew, Shawn, Lindsey, and Madeline. These grandchildren, alongside her 15 great-grandchildren, brought Vivian immense joy and pride, each moment spent with them strengthening the bond that she held dear.

Though her dear husband Robert Shaw and son Reginald Shaw have preceded her in death, Vivian's heart carried their memories close. She also grieved the loss of her parents, Alexander and Oxonia Androschuk, along with her four brothers and two sisters, establishing an enduring foundation of love that transcended even the hardest of separations.

Vivian was known not just for her devoted family ties but also for the warmth she afforded to her friends and community. Her home was often filled with laughter, stories, and the delicious aromas of meals made with love, where everyone felt welcome and cherished. Vivian's legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched, a reminder of the importance of family, love, and the joys of togetherness.

As we grieve the loss of Vivian, we celebrate the remarkable life she led, one filled with devotion, compassion, and an unyielding spirit. Her memory will be held dearly in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit and love will continue to shine brightly, guiding her family and friends forward with each passing day.
