Shirley Gunderson

On November 25, 2023 Shirley Gunderson, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. She will be dearly remembered by her husband, Ron Gunderson and children Glen (Arlene) and grandchildren Dylan and Evan; Jody (Colin) and grandchildren Nathan and Liam.  We know Shirley has now joined her son Darren and parents Hugh and Dorothy Wilson in heaven.

Ron and Shirley have lived in the Drayton Valley and surrounding area for about 55 years.  Shirley loved all animals and enjoyed reading, watching TV and going for walks.  Her contagious warmth and beautiful smile put all those around her at ease.  She had a blessed life full of family and friendship which she cherished.

We love you so much, rest peacefully.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Breton Community Centre on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Lunch to follow.
