Orville Robert Hertlein

It is with profound sadness that the family of Orville Hertlein, announce his passing on January 31, 2023 in the Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre, surrounded by his loving family.

Orville was born in August 7, 1945 in Esterhazy, Sask.. He enjoyed the simple life, and his family and friends meant everything to him. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Judy; his children, Dion (Jodi) and Dustin (Kara), his grandchildren, Alexander, Xavier, Ayla, and Amyah.  He also leaves to mourn his siblings Mavis Banera, Rodney Hertlein, and Linda Tapp as well as their extended families. Orville was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Wanda Hertlein, and his siblings, Charlotte Lange, Mervin and Charlie Hertlein.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Olokar and the nursing staff of the Drayton Valley Hospital for the continued care they showed to Orville.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Drayton Memorial Celebration Centre.
