Martin Garnett, beloved husband, father, son, brother and papa (Grumpa), passed away peacefully in is home in Bowden, Alberta, surrounded by the ones he loved the most after a brave, arduous battle with cancer. He will be remembered for his ever-present love for his family. It would be a crime should we not mention his second favorite love, Hot Wheels.

Marty will be remembered by his wife Barbara, children, Nicolas, Megan, and Michelle (Adam) and his grandchildren, Nicolas Jr (Nic), Kale, Nevaeh and Nekaeiah (Megan) Emma Ruth and Garrison (Michelle), and his 10,000 + Hot Wheels. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Bill Garnett of Calgary, sister, Deborah Ann of Calgary, and grandson, Vallon Gage, of Edmonton (Michelle). 

We are so very thankful to the excellent staff of the Red Deer Cancer Clinic, and Olds Hospital, Dr. John McSorley and Dr. Duong and their dedicated care of Marty, and our family during his brave battle. He will be loved and so dearly missed.
