Marilyn Bustin

Marilyn Bustin, a beloved soul who cherished the simple joys of life, suddenly passed away on October 10, 2024. Marilyn found delight in the spirit of Christmas, spending hours engrossed in word searches, cheering on her favorite team, the Oilers, and creating beautiful crocheted pieces that warmed the hearts of those close to her.

In her lifetime, Marilyn touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering love. She was a devoted mother to her son, Cody Bustin and daughter-in-law Monika, and a doting grandmother to Jaycee, Tulsa, and Paislee Bustin, who brought immense joy and light into her life.

Marilyn is now reunited in eternal peace with her parents, Ted and Joan Bustin, and her brother-in-law, Gene Chodak. She is survived by her loving siblings, Marie (Ellery) Styner, Mike (Trish) Bustin, and Merna Chodak, who shared countless memories and cherished moments with Marilyn throughout the years.

Her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marilyn's warm smile and comforting presence brought light into the lives of many. Her love for the holidays and unwavering support for her sports team will forever be cherished by those who shared in her passions.

A celebration of Marilyn's life will be held in the days to come, where we will gather to honor her memory, share stories of her laughter and kindness, and find solace in each other's company as we mourn her passing. Marilyn's legacy of love and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her presence.

May she rest in peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
