Lillian Violet Meade, born in 1946, in Alsike, was a remarkable woman whose life was filled with love, joy, and cherished moments. She peacefully passed away on August 16, 2023, at the Breton Continuing Care Centre..

Lillian's journey began on a farm in Alsike, where she was raised alongside her beloved sisters and brother. She attended schools in Warburg and Breton, where she acquired knowledge that would guide her through various chapters of her life.

Married to Leonard for an awe-inspiring 60 years, Lillian found deep fulfillment within their union. Her collection of antique lamps was a testament to her exquisite taste and the appreciation she had for beauty in all its forms.
