It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Justin Janke on March 12, 2025. Born on December 18, 1986, Justin radiated warmth and dedication throughout his life—through his illustrious career and fervent passions, he left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A proud alumnus of Buck Mountain Central School, class of 2004, Justin’s journey continued into auctioneer school, where his talent and affinity for the craft flourished. He devotedly served as a sales representative for Allen B. Olson Auction Service, a role in which he thrived while traveling the province. Justin's job was more than just a means of livelihood; it was a canvas upon which he painted lasting relationships, frequently found in the company of new faces, exchanging stories and laughter while celebrating the art of auctioneering.

Beyond his career, Justin's spirit soared in various pursuits that brought him joy. He cherished the great outdoors, finding solace in hunting and fishing, all while embracing the camaraderie found on hockey rinks as a referee. A rodeo enthusiast at heart, he reveled in riding and roping, crafting memories that will echo through time. His love for building things showcased his creativity, and the passion for 4-H rooted deeply within him, fostering not only skills but lifelong friendships.

A treasured family man, Justin found his true soulmate in Annie, with whom he joyfully shared 16 remarkable years of marriage. They became one on May 17, 2008, in a celebration that bonded their hearts forever. Their love blossomed further with the arrival of their two wonderful children: Becca-Joy Ann, born April 20, 2009, and Gunner Daniel Lee, born October 24, 2012. To Justin, family was the foundation of his existence, and he cherished every moment spent with his beloved wife and children.

He is survived by his cherished family: loving wife Annie, daughter Becca-Joy, and son Gunner; proud parents Danny and Corinna, devoted sister Christina and her husband Ryan, along with their spirited son Cohen, who brought a special light to Justin's heart. His loss is also mourned by his in-laws, Roger and Julie.

In the quiet solace of reflection, we also remember those who have left us before him. Justin holds close the memories of his paternal grandparents, Carl and Ethel, and his cousin Jessie, both of whom are with him in spirit.

Friends, family, and all whose lives Justin touched are invited to gather in remembrance at a memorial service on March 20, 2025, at the Breton Community Centre. The service will commence at 1:00 PM, allowing time to celebrate Justin's life and the incredible legacy he leaves behind.

Justin Janke was a man of many dimensions—a devoted husband, a nurturing father, a beloved son, a brother, and a friend. In his passing, the world has dimmed slightly, but his vibrant spirit will forever illuminate the hearts who knew him. He may have departed from this world, yet the memories he created will eternally kindle the flame of love and laughter within us all.

Justin's family wishes to express gratitude to the Breton RCMP and the Winfield Fire Department for their swift response to assist Justin on the night of his accident. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Justin's memory to the Winfield Wolfpack or West of the 5th Rodeo Association.
