Jesse Allan Richert

It is with great sadness that the family of Jesse Richert announce his passing in Edmonton, Alberta on July 30, 2024, at the age of 34 years.

Even though God needed him more, Jesse led a short life with everlasting memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. He was very polite and funny. He passed away peacefully. Jesse was saved and baptized in the Church of God in Drayton Valley, Alberta. We know he is with God now.

Jesse had completed his Heavy-Duty Mechanic License, including his CVIP License, and recently passed his two red seal certificates to be recognized across Canada. He was working at Baffinland IronOre Mines in Mary River, Nunavut working on large equipment. 

He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. His devoted parents Ken & Tracy who stood by his side with love and faith through thick and thin, guiding him through life’s up and downs with wisdom and affection. 

He leaves behind his twin sister Jessica (Terence) Ralston and younger sister Cynthia (Adam) Fehr. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, Jane & Olive Ralston, and nephews Elijah & Aaron Fehr. As well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins on both the Richert and Frischknet sides. 

Jesse was predeceased by his Papa (Avolt Richert and his Grandma (Mae Frischknet) and other extended family members. 

Jesse was known as a funny, polite, and kind person. He will be greatly missed, and we will meet again in Heaven. He loved old cars, trucks, snowboarding and his Papa and Granny. 

Jesse’s family would like to extend thanks to the Church of God in Drayton Valley, Alberta.

A funeral service will be held on August 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Drayton Valley Church of God located at 5004 49 St., Drayton Valley. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at the Rocky Rapids Cemetery on Range Rd 72 in Rocky Rapids at 2:00 PM. A luncheon will follow the graveside service at the Drayton Valley Church of God.
