Glennice Eileen Franklin

After a short illness, Glennice passed away February 4, 2023, at the Drayton Valley Hospital with her daughter by her side.

Glennice was born in Camrose and raised on a farm in Kingman, AB. In 1964, she married and settled in Antler Lake where she raised her two children. She worked at the Bank of Montreal for many years and after early retirement moved north of Drayton Valley and lived on the farm with her daughter and son-in-law.

Glennice worked until she was 75 at our local Tops in Drayton Valley and really enjoyed interacting with the customers.

She will be missed by her daughter Roni, son in law Steve, and grandson Mathew. She will also be missed by her siblings Phyllis, Lester, and Colleen and numerous nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband George, son Troy and her parents Clifford and Vera.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gossman and the staff at the Shale Clinic for their dedicated care, we couldn't have got through this without you. In addition, the doctors, nurses and staff at the Drayton Valley Hospital; your compassion during this very difficult time was most appreciated. Being able to spend those final days with Glennice was truly valued.

As per her request, there will be no service.
