Cristel Dusterhoft

With a deep sense of sorrow and loss, the family announces the passing of Cristel Dusterhoft on June 17, 2023, at the age of 93 years.

Cristel was born in Rocky Rapids, Alberta on December 18, 1929, and remained in the community her entire life.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Linda (Robin) Passmore, Gerald Dusterhoft, and Ron (Regina) Dusterhoft, and siblings, Violet Dusterhoft (Otto) and Jane (Herb) Zander. She will be missed by 6 grandchildren, Steven (Christy) Passmore, Colleen (Kevin) Urlik, Kevin (Kate) Passmore, Nicole (Mark) Englishbee, Ross (Haley) Dusterhoft, and Evan Dusterhoft. She will also be remembered by 9 great grandchildren, Torin Urlik, Haley Passmore, Kyla Urlik, Henley Wood, William Passmore, Ellie Englishbee, Evie Wood, Kennedy Passmore, and Sadie Englishbee. She will also be remembered by extended family and friends. Cristel was proud of her family and loved them all dearly.

Cristel was predeceased by her husband William, her son, Dwayne, and her parents, Gus and Bertha Schoen.

Funeral services will be held at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 4604-50 Ave. Drayton Valley, on Friday, June 23, 2023.

Viewing at 12:30 pm with service to follow at 1:00 pm

After the service, the family invites everyone to join them for fellowship and refreshments at Drayton Memorial Celebration Center followed by interment at Rocky Rapids Cemetery.
