Allison (Sue) Fleming, a beloved Camp Cook and cherished member of her community, passed away on February 25, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta. Born on June 30, 1967, Sue led a life characterized by her passion for cooking and the great outdoors, fostering connections with nature and people alike.
Throughout her career as a Camp Cook, Sue developed a reputation for her culinary talents, bringing family and friends together over delicious meals during countless camping trips. Her love for both summer and winter camping remained a significant aspect of her life, allowing her to explore the beauty of the wilderness while creating lasting memories with those she loved.
Sue is survived by her devoted husband, Dave Pittman, and her three children: daughter Mellissa (Brian) Burton, son Ryan Vincent, and stepdaughter Tiffany Pittman. She also leaves behind her stepson, David Pittman (Jr), and her beloved grandchildren Jade, Mason, Claire, Adam, and Ryleigh, who were the lights of her life.
Sue's vibrant spirit is further carried on by her siblings, Dulcie, Rick, Gilbert, and Sheila, along with a loving extended family who will miss her dearly.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Archibald and Charlotte Burton, and her brother, Junior Burton, who welcomed her into peace.
A life filled with warmth, generosity, and the joy of cooking, Sue Fleming will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
