Alberta Toppman, a cherished soul who graced the world with her vibrant spirit, was born on July 21, 1959, in the heart of Edmonton. Her journey through life was one marked by creativity, warmth, and an unwavering love for the simpler things that stitched together the fabric of everyday joy. Alberta passed away unexpectedly in Breton on December 28, 2024, leaving behind a tapestry of memories that will be fondly held by those who loved her.

She will be missed by her mother, Hilda and as a devoted mother herself, Alberta poured her heart into raising her daughter, Desirae, nurturing a bond anchored in affection and understanding. The laughter they shared and the lessons learned will forever echo in the corners of their hearts, a testament to a profound relationship fortified by love and shared dreams.

Siblings were an important part of Alberta’s life, fostering friendships that transcended time. She is survived by her sisters, Brenda (Glen) Mischuck, Kathy (Kevin) Nesbitt, Yvonne (Shawn) Toppman, and Denise Toppman. Each one of them carries the unique imprint of Alberta’s kindness and humor, memories adorned with laughter, and moments that will live on in their stories.

Alberta found joy in the delicate artistry of crafting, transforming ordinary materials into stunning creations that breathed life and color into her surroundings. The green thumb she possessed flourished in her vegetable and flower gardens, where she found solace in nurturing life, delighting in the vibrant blooms and the bountiful harvests. Each garden was not just an array of plants, but a canvas painted with her passions and inspiration.

She now joins her beloved family members who have departed before her: Albert Toppman, Wilhelmenina and Gus Deisting, and Antoinette and Nicoli Topolinski. Together, they weave a connection that spans beyond this earthly realm, as Alberta takes her place among them, an everlasting thread in the rich tapestry of their family legacy.

As we gather our memories, Alberta Topman will forever remain a luminous star in our horizon, illuminating our lives with her love for crafts, her laughter, and the fragrance of her flourishing gardens. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind, a gentle reminder to find joy in the creation, in the bond of family, and in the beauty that life offers. May her soul rest peacefully, wrapped in the embrace of her loved ones who have gone on before her.

Her family will share a private service a a later date.
