Aaron Fiveland

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aaron Fiveland, who left this world on February 17, 2025, in Drayton Valley, surrounded by family. Born on September 5, 1970, Aaron was a beacon of strength and love, embracing every moment as a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

Aaron's career as an Electrical Inspector for Enbridge showcased his exceptional talent in his trade, working in various locations throughout British Columbia. His colleagues and friends admired his skill and dedication, but it was the warmth of his character that truly defined him. Aaron was not just gifted with tools and wires; he had a remarkable ability to connect with others, often leaving them uplifted with his great sense of humor and poignant insights.

Among the many passions that filled Aaron's life, music resonated the strongest. He had a natural gift for melody, having learned to play by ear from his father and the renowned musical "Fiveland" family. This love for music was a legacy he cherished, as he passed his talent down to his sons, Kadyn, Kyler, and Kayle, ensuring that the music would live on through them. Family was everything to Aaron-a profound source of pride and joy. He was an amazing provider, and his commitment to his wife Kari and their boys was unwavering. His confident, headstrong nature often shone through, highlighting his passionate opinions on life. Despite being a reserved communicator, those who knew him well found a friend like no other in Aaron.

He fought bravely against bladder cancer with an enduring strength and a "no-quit" attitude. His journey was not only one of struggle, but also of inspiration for all who walked beside him. His resilience and courage have left an indelible mark on the hearts of his loved ones, reminding them of the importance of family, love, and unyielding spirit.

Aaron is survived by his loving wife, Kari; his cherished sons, Kadyn, Kyler, and Kayle; his devoted siblings, Dalene (Ron) Cosgrave and Kari (Dan) Hunter; his beloved mother, Doreen Fiveland; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will continue to celebrate his life and legacy.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Fiveland; his beloved dog, Vader; his mother-in-law, Doris Lang; and his grandparents, who together will welcome him with open arms in eternal rest.
