Butterfly Goodbye
Drayton Memorial offers a special area of the Celebration Centre for Medical Assistance in Dying - our Butterfly Goodbye. We offer a private space for family and friends to gather and say final goodbyes in a comfortable setting away from the hospital or home. We provide a light lunch, coffee, juice, and snacks for guests. We can accommodate families with a choice of background music, flowers, and we even welcome small pets. Our on-staff end of life doula will be assigned to the family for the day, facilitating care, and accommodating the needs and wishes of the family.
